Items are still NEEDED!
Each year, NCATA hosts two fundraisers at Summer Conference to raise funds for future NCATA Scholarships: the Regional Basket Fundraiser and the Silent Auction.
We are in need of items to make these fundraisers a success.
Silent Auction: First, you may donate items or “experiences” at conference for the Silent Auction. Examples of items include trips to a local agrotourism spot, handmade items from your school, or unique gifts from your local area. Amy Kidd, Past NCATA President, is managing both fundraisers and would be glad to accept your donation for the Silent Auction at the conference. If you will be providing something for the auction, please contact Amy Kidd at akidd@randolph.k12.nc.us and let her know your intentions.
Silent Auction items will be displayed in Imperial D. Bidding will begin on Tuesday afternoon. Bidding will conclude on Wednesday afternoon by calling for final bids at 4:50 PM. If you win an item, then we will have that item available at the desk for the winner to pay and pick up by the end of the conference on Thursday.
Regional Baskets: Each region is asked to provide a basket focusing on agriculture products from your area. FOOD/ CRAFTS/ EXPERIENCES focused on your region are needed. These baskets are being coordinated by your NCATA Regional Vice President. Please contact your Vice President if you can help. Don’t know your Vice President? Check out this information sheet for their name and email.
